    HI,

    Components of XI:

    1) System landscape Directory

    2) Integration Builder: IB has two part ( Integration repository and Integration Directory)

    3) Integration server

    4) Central Monitoring

    5) Adapter Engin

    Only one integration engine are present.

    Hi vivek,

    You can follow the TBIT40 for XI Architecture

    component of xi

    1)SLD--where you can define product ,product version, software and swcv.

    2) IR(intregration repository)--here you can design the scenario for example data type,message type,interface and mapping.

    3) here you can define the path of the message

    configuration part means Receiver determination and condition if any

    like interface determination and its condition.
