Hello,

Can anybody tell me wat is the difference between T/C XD01 and VD01.

Hi David,

There r 3 T-Codes to create Customer master.

1) XD01 - To create General , Company code and Sales Area Data (Centrally)

2) VD01 - To create only General and Sales area (created by SD)

3) FD01 - To Create only General and Comapny Code Date (Created by FI)

Dear David

In XD01, you can create datas pertaining to <i>"General Data", "Company Code Data" and "Sales Area Data</i>", whereas in VD01, you will be able to create <i><b>ONLY "Sales Area Data</b></i>.

This is because in some companies they would like to have some control wherein, the sales people will have access only to datas related to sales in which case, authorization will be given only for VD01 / VD02 & VD03.
