Error installation SAP Netweaver 2004s in XP Professional SP2

Hi to all,

When I install SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.0.09 in XP Professional SP2 appears the following error:

<i>The SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.0.09 Setup has not successfully installed all selected components on your computer, either because a component could not be installed or the process has been aborted.

Click Finish to exit the wizard. For detailed error descriptions, please open file://C:\ARCHIV1\SAPINS1\NW04S\SYSTEM\DEVSTU1\ide_sar.tmp\J2EE-R1\IDE\setup\saplogvw.exe .

The following program files could not be registered:

<b>c:\windows\system32\librfc32.dll</b>

The installed applications may not function correctly until all program files are successfully installed.</i>

Can anybody help me about this?

    Typical reason for file not be able to be registered properly is usually that the files are in use by some process. In such a case, you should end all programs, including saplogon, office bar, virus scanner and so on, and install again.

    Hi Anja,

    Retry the installation, before the installation locate and register the file manually.

    Register the files by running program

    regsvr32.exe: Start -> Run:

    "regsvr32.exe (file path)\(file name)".
