vendor evaluation

Hi all,

i would like to use " confirmation" is a main criteria, and for that " transport confiramation and advance ship notification " are sub-criterias,

it would be also to evaluate the vendor ,

is it workable ?

please guide me in this to frame the correct structure

Hi Lakshmi,

I am not an expert of vendor evaluation.

The only thing I know in combination with confirmations is that in the PO on line item you have to dates: the delivery date and the statistical delivery date.

If you change the delivery date, the statistical date remains unchanged.

The vendors 'evaluation date' basis is the statistical delivery date.

Example: if you want that the vendor delivers the goods later, then

your vendor is not badly evaluated.

Hi eric,

we would know the vendors confiramations well with evaluation,

when the customer give the order to vendors,initial responce is also important,

if the vendor give the confirmation ,customer will plan easily his operations,

for that we have to evaluate,

is it workable or not ?
