Hi Meriem

Not possible as far as I can tell. The Cube designer copies ct_coxxxx data to the OLAP objects, but the description of the journal is not at this level (it's in ct_pk, the MJE data)

It's also rare to report at this detailed level (individual journals) - the point of FC cubes is to aggregate and then report on this. For JE details it would be advisable to report that from FC directly

Journals in BPC10 are posted using WEB interface. It's not possible to get a description in Excel.

So, your answer does not apply

I think BFC is a typo error 🙂 May be BPC? Anyway, the question author is not interested in answers....

No, there are other products in EPM besides BPC 🙂

BFC or FC is Financial Consolidation - a product that actually consolidates....and did so long before BPC

Then how it's related to the tag:

EPM Add-In for Excel

Because the EPM add-in can report on all EPM products (BPC-MS, BPC-NW, PCM, SM, BFC)

In fact, it was originally designed for FC...

Anyway, the answer is the same: "Not possible" 🙂
