Question Regarding Add-on PI_ Basis 2003_1_620, PI_BASIS 2005_1_6260

Hi Experts,

I have a question regarding Add-on PI_ Basis 2003_1_620 and PI_BASIS 2005_1_6260.

I am currently at Add-on Pi_basis 2003_1_620 and I have to apply PI_BASIS 2005_1_620 now.

My question is I should be able to just plug in from saint PI_BASIS 2005_1_620 directly right? or do I need to add PI_BASIS 2004_1_620?

I think we can directly upgrade to PI_BASIS 2005_1_620 from PI_ Basis 2003_1_620 without 2004 . But check the SAP_ABA , SAP_BASIS Support level and PI level,

It should be

SAP_BASIS 620: 0014

SAP_ABA 620: 0014

Also check note 821148

Yes, You are right, according to your note 8211478, it can be done with the following pre--reqs...

Required components (see table CVERS):

SAP_BASIS 620

SAP_ABA 620

Required Support Packages:

SAP_BASIS 620: 0014

SAP_ABA 620: 0014</b>

We are on :

SAP_BASIS 620: 0050

SAP_ABA 620: 0050

So I am able to import latest one.

Can you explain what this line means in that note.

<b>You are not allowed to use PI_BASIS 2005.1 with PI 2003.1 or lower is.</b>

I don't have any note about it. I'm pretty sure about it because I have done it in sequence. I'm sure it won't let you skip 2004.

You have to install 2004_1_620 first and then 2005_1_620.
