BEx Web Analyzer not working

Hi

I am getting the following link opened in my IE when I execute the query ( through BEx Web ) from query designer in BI 7

http:///irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=KEE_QDDEMO1&VARIABLE_SCREEN=X&DUMMY=6

We have dual stack (J2EE and ABAP engine) set up and we have not configured the portal yet.

Has anyone come across the same kind of issue? Any help on this is greatly appreciated with reward points.

Thanks

Kee

    Hi Kee,

    First of all, you need to configure the portal according to SAP note 917950.

    For this specific setting go to:

    SM30 -> Table view: rsport_t_portal -> Maintain

    Set your RFC destination (you can see it in SM59 if you defined the portal...)

    'Name of System' (usually SAP_BW) and 'Portal URL Prefix' which is the portal URL.

    If everything is configured correctly the url prefix will be added to the target url so it should look like:

    http:// : /irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=KEE_QDDEMO1&VARIABLE_SCREEN=X&DUMMY=6

    Regards,

    Omri
