Installing E-Recruitment - different clients?

Hi Experts,

We are implementing E-REC and I am not sure if we should install it with a different client than the one we use for HR. How do you decide? Does it need to be a different client?

If so, do you need to maintain user ids and authorizations in both clients?

How does the Portal know what client to reference when pulling data?

Thanks for any help!

Shane

Hello again. More info for my question:

I don't really have any experience in terms of installation, but I can tell you that the way the company is leaning is towards installing E-REC on the same box as our ERP 6. Give one client 800, and the other one client 900.

That being said, I am wondering how the two interact? I think that I can use ALEs to transfer data between 800 and 900. But, will we need to maintain users in both clients? If we have 5000 employees at the company, will we need 5000 users created and maintained in client 900 (the e-rec client) so that they can use e-recruitment??

    Thanks for the help.
