Problems installing SAP Netweaver 2004s Preview JAVA

Hi all,

I have successfully installed the Preview Version of SAP NW2004s SP12 for

ABAP. Now I want to install the WAS JAVA in addition. According to

abap on java stack.

this should be possible.

I ran into several errors (wrong JAVA runtime, SAPLOC not shared etc.) and was able to solve them but now I get the following error message in the log:

INFO 2030-11-30 17:22:49

Execute step setNWOption of component |NW_Java_OneHost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_getJavaHome|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0.

Unfortunately I do not have a clue, how to solve this one.

Can anybody help me please ?

Thank you all in advance,

Axel

    Hi Axel,

As you already mentioned, the NW04s ABAP system is installed on the same

host. It could be that the ABAP system is running with a wrong user.

You could try stopping the ABAP system and also the corresponding service

    SAP<sid>_<instance number> in Start -> run -> "services.msc".

Please retry the Java installation after the above mentioned. The ABAP system can be restarted after the

Java system installation is done. Hope it helps.

    Regards

    Srikishan
