IDOC ERROR

HI

when i doing ALE process sending data from client to another client , i got error like

29--ALE service layer

51--application document was document was not posted.

can any buddy explained about error handling that is very use full to me.

Hi Toka,

You can go to that particular idoc using WE02 and check in the status records which will give you the reason for failure.

On top of that IDoc you can go to display/change and then edit after getting into the relevant segment(then in the relevant field).

Some other useful transactions to post the Idocs successfully.

WE19 -Test tool for creating and processing Idocs

BD87 - To manually change the status of the IDoc
