Partners who are not assigned to org unit can able to see the opps of orgun

Hi,

We have a Organization sturcture. We have employee type partners assigned to the Organization structure. In production system we have a particular employee who is assigned to Orgunit was behaving strangely.

If this users loggs into the system and search for opportunities he need to see the opportunities under his Orgunit. As the roles are configured in this way. If he try to search he is not able to see any opportunities when he was assigned to the org unit. But if we remove him from the org unit he was able to see the opportunities list.

Kindly help me in this regard.

Thanks

Naveen

    Hi Naveen,

I also had this kind of problem, to over come this we checked by creating new role and user, and assigned this user to the same partner in BP and then searched, it was working fine. Then we compared the roles using Basis and found some variations in the exixting roles and the new roles. Once we matched this we are able to solve this issue.

Also check whether you are using single role for that user or multilpe roles. You can even put on the trace and check what all authorisation object it is using in that search.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Arun Kumar
