Navigational Link for BuPaIdentifyCustomer

Hi experts,

I am on the search for the navigational link that does the initial call for the views in the ViewSet BuPaIdentifyCustomer.

When i click on the Navbar Link Identify Account, the navigational link IdentifyCustomerView points to BupaMainViewset and this one points to BuPaIdentifyCustomer viewset.

I am wondering , who decides which view of the defined ones in the viewareas has to be shown at first.

Can anyone help?

    Hi Andreas,

    Default view, is the view that defined <b>first</b> in the list of views that belongs to view set.

      Hi Eli,

      this also was my first thought.

      Aim for me is to replace the BuPaEmptySelect View against a modified IHistResult View in the view area 'select'.

      So i did the following replacement:

      <ViewSet id="BuPaMainViewSet">
    <ViewArea id="identification" views="BuPaIdentifyCustomer BuPaMoreFieldsSet BuPaEmailViewSet BuPaDisplayCustomerSet"/>
</ViewSet>
<ViewSet id="BuPaIdentifyCustomer">
        <ViewArea id="businessPartner" views="BuPaSearch BuPaDetail BuPaCreate BuPaSearchB2B BuPaDetailB2B BuPaContactPersonCreate"/>
        <ViewArea id="product" views="y09vsi_crmtab/y09vsicrmtabview BuPaIbaseDetail "/>
        <ViewArea id="select" views="y09vsi_crmihist/IHistResult BuPaEmptySelect BuPaSelectCustomer BuPaSelectIbase BuPaSelectContactPerson BuPaSelectCPforCustomer"/>
</ViewSet>

      But i had no success.

      When i click on the Identify Account button in the navbar. There is still the BuPaEmptySelect view to see.

      Did i forget something?

    Hello Andreas!

    I think you can use the BSP_WD_WORKBENCH transaction to find out where BP identification view has been used. In BSP_WD_WORKBENCH transaction you must enter both the BSP application and profile. I don't know if can see what view has to be shown at first.

    ... Now i got one step forward.

    I removed the View BuPaEmptySelect from the viewarea 'select' with the result, that my modified IHistResult view appears when i click the Identify Account button.

    But now i have got a really strange behaviour of the application...

    At first i Search and confirm a Contact Person.

    Then i navigate via the navbar to the IRecViewSet

    Finally i move back via navbar to the BuPaMainViewset

    with the crazy result that the BuPaEmptySelect View is there again instead of my IHistresult view. And this although the BuPaEmptySelect view isn't defined anymore in the viewset ???

    To avoid some old page stuff i deleted the browser cache, but there was no change...

    Has anyone a solution for this problem.

      Hello Andreas,

      It happend to me once that my changes are not worked, try to run

      <b>/$sync</b> transaction it helped me once.

      this transaction clears all SAP buffers.

    ...unfortunatelly with no success!

    It seems to me as if the navbar link Identify Account has been switched to another viewset after the account has been confirmed.

    Cann anyone tell me something about this?

    Hi Andreas ,

    What version of CRM r u working on ?

    Can you give the BSP Component Name ?

    And explan the scenario in terms of whether u r navigating out of the window ?

    I am not able to get the picture of the scenario ..

    I know its not a major thing but please provide me with more info.

      Hello Vinay,

      I am working on a CRM 5.0 Patchlevel 9.

      The BSP Components are:

      Navigational Link:

      IdentifyCustomerView in NavBarNavigationalLink.xml

      --> This is the customized Navigational link from navbar. It links to the BuPaMainViewSet in BuPaViewSet.xml

      Viewsets:

      - BuPaMainViewSet in BuPaViewSet.xml

      - BuPaIdentifyCustomer in BuPaViewSet.xml

      View:

      I copied the crm_ic/IHistResult view and replaced the crm_ic/BuPaEmptySelect View

      with it in the viewarea 'Select' of the BuPaIdentifyCustomer viewset.

      The scenario:

      1. Log in into crm_ic

      2. Navigate into the BuPaIndetifyCustomer viewset

      3. Search a customer and confirm it.

      4. Navigate out of the BuPaIdentifyCustomer viewset into another (it doesn't matter which one)

      5. Navigate back to BuPaIdentifyCustomer viewset

      Result: The replacement of me IHistResult view disapears and the original BuPaEmptySelect view is shown.

      If you need another information, please let me know...
