Is it required to get licence to use CR in production

We are planning to use CR in our .net web-application. As I know CR is free for development with VS 2015, Can I know is it required to get a license for the Production deployment. If it is necessary, What version I should use to compatible for VS2015 development & Windows server 2012 Deployment.

As long as it's used internal only then I don't believe you need to pay for license but read the info to be sure.
