I have created a timesheet and when I check the GL the journal is held with the error message
Cost object type could not be derived from coding block type PRO
There does not seem to be anything in the help as to what this is a result of, any suggestions welcome. We recently had this issue and it ended up being a database inconsistency that prevented backend messages from being delivered properly. To correct it we reached out to SAP support on incident 898512/2023 and they gave this feedback:
To correct this inconsistency we completed a dummy change on the project, where we edited the project name, saved it and then changed it back.

Hi,
Did you ever find the root cause of this? We are running into the same issue and can't find the problem.
Thanks in advance,
