Income Tax Calculation..India payroll

Hi Experts,

I need a help regarding Tax Calculation .Here my client is calculating tax outside of sap.Now they wish to have with SAP.The client is saying that at some point of time in the lastyear they have deactivted Tax calculations by sap. At present they are calculting tax by an excel sheet.Through an wagetype they will put that amount in deductions.

How can i activate the system to calculate sap.What could be the first step.

Please advice me to solve the issue.

    The function INTAX computes tax on the income received by an employee during the current financial year. Please make sure this function is activated in your schema.

      Hi Arun...

      Thanks for the reply.I have checked with INTAX function.There is no details with par1 par2 par3 par4 d.

      I can able to see the text Income tax calculations.There is no * mark in the function line.

      Where should i active the function.

    Check INN1Subschema and Compare with ur Custom schema....

      Hi Experts,

      Here My client is saying that they have given Tax exemptions under Pm Tax relief fund as 999999.That s why tax is not calculating.

      In which node we can find the Limits.They are telling if we change the tax limit it will calculate the tax.

      Please advice.
