    Hi All,

Satiesh, please don't use name of the persons in the pposts, just post it as a general question, and Question is answered depending on the freetime of the person.

Don't expect the people working in projects at clients' places that they will be free and answer all the times

and it is not the chit chat forum for people. I think the people who are idle without anywork may chat like this and this forum is purely for gaining and sharing the SAP ABAP knowledge.

    for your querry

see the following doc on ecatt

Extended Computer Aided Test Tool (eCATT) to create and execute functional tests for software. The primary aim is the automatic testing of SAP business processes. Each test generates a detailed log that documents the test process and results.

    Features

    You can:

    · Test transactions and reports

    · Call BAPIs and function modules

    · Test remote systems

    · Check authorizations (user profiles)

    · Test database updates

    · Test the effects of changes to customizing tables

    · Test the effect of changes to customizing settings

    · Check system messages

    Constraints

eCATT runs in a system based on SAP Web Application Server 6.20 or higher. However, you can use this system to test systems with Release 4.6C or higher.

      you see satish,

this is what people are talking about.

the subject of your dreams did not answer your (for a pro) probably simple question but supply you with 'a plethora of unrelated links' leaving the answer to your question open ...

so my advice, don't try to become anyone else's junior copy but be yourself...and return more focused answers if you're able to.

      kind regards,

      anton

    Hello Satish

When you download test variants from your test configuration you create a simple TXT file which you can process in Excel.

Obviously, for uploading you should use the same (simple) format.

Alternatively you can download the entire test configuration as XML file. This XML contains the test variants, too. Thus, if you prefer to modify the test variants using this XML you can do so. Afterwards you have to upload the entire test configuration again.

    Regards

    Uwe
