Hello SAP Gurus,
i've tried to make the fields for the meal times (Brkfst, Lnch, Dinn) in tab deductions visible through FITVFELD i also checked it in the T706Z1. But nothing happened the fields are still not visible,,,,do i have to run a generating program. maybe TRVFD is a problem it is active but the decisiontree is empty?! All employees shall have the same fields in pr05...
I also looked in Table PTRV_T706Z_FLDS it seems also okay...I am confused...
Thank you for your help!
Hello Christina,
I suppose you tried customizing for domestic trip only - for the intenational trip schema the time fields should be available. That's somehow system design for country version Czech Republic (Morei 18) - and is related to the way dedcuctions are handled in CZ.
In CZ the deductions are based on the number of meals granted during the trip - in T706A you will notic deduction types 1,2,3 (and not B, L, D as used for other countries). Just in case of an international trip with a domestic part the time of the deductions is relevant for calculation and thus the fields are available only for international trip schema.

Monika

Hello Monika,
thank you for your answer. But also international trips do not have the fields visible for "meal time".
(deduction types 1+2+3 : we know this, but these abzkz=1/2/3/... are not the number of meals -->the czech deduction in % depends on the hours you spend in the foreign country/city -->Program RPRTB000_ALV Line 299)

Hello Lucas,
thank you very much for your reply.
for testing i set the constants B_DED,L_DED, D_DED ...and in program RPCLSTTE ( to read the cluster table for travels) the constans/meal times were set in the deductions view. Then calculation of deduction in PR05 would be correct. But i think it is not good to set a specific time so i want to have the fields visible and ready for input...? i think i have to open a note to SAP thru our system hosting partner.
It is very good that you have the same problem, so it is not only our system which is 'verbogen'.

christina

Hi Christina,
.
just Lukas is fine. We usually use our first names on the forums because it's simpler and faster (hope you don't mind).
.
Since I'm on the same release as you (on a higher SP level, though) I have tried to reproduce your situation and succeeded. I.e. the Settings from FITVFELD for the fields you mentioned did not reflect, i.e. the fields did not become visible. This is, from a technical point of view, usually either a standard bug or a hardcoded thing which has to do with travel constants, so I subsequently searched for constants which make might fit the scenario and found Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1679671. Although, in the note, it only mentions the MOREI for austria, in the SAP System's IMG-Help the constants are also described as valid for other countries including Czechia. You might want to check if you need to maintain these constants in the system for it to work. This is only a shot in the dark, though. Maybe monika.putzer knows, she usually has a better functional expertise than me.
.
If the above mentioned does not apply, it might still be a standard issue. What confuses me, personally, is the fact, that the constants are handled within SAPMP56T only for default values, which is consistent with description of the said constants, but not explicitly for visibility which makes it kind of... intransparent how this is supposed to work. The again, I don't understand everything there is either 🙂
.
Cheers, Lukas

SAP notes : yes i was searching, but found only some notes for web-dynpro issues...
Morei=18 (CZ)
debug: no/ not rellay. i was searching/debugging after calculation error of deductions on the first day of the trip for morei "18" and found out that the time for meals is the problem. because they are missing in our system. when i set this times in the constants (SIMG_OHR0410) calculation will be okay. but it is not really good to have it as constants ...i think...so i want to have the fields visible to put the times manually in...and now i am standing here...
now i tried to change the other way round: I hide some fields in FITVFELD -->this works! so,, i think it is not a TRVFD issue...
i am only in my dev-system and test in my dev-system
Thank you in advance.
regards
cr

Hi Christina,
.
you need to provide a lot more information than that to even enable us to utter mere assumptions, let alone analyze the problem.

EDIT1: Workaround for Screwed up formatting on the 1DX-Catastrophy
EDIT2: Corrected bad information from my side concerning Feature maintenance. Checked back with a colleague who has more expertise than me with Customizing and he told me you don't necessarily need to use any variables available in a feature --> I stand corrected 😐
