Re Phantom Material used as Alternative Group

Hi Friends

We have been using alternative groups for alternative material for L stock items. Our querry is whether we can use non stock N Phantom material as alternatives ? And would be abe to use this as a regular alternative group material? In other words, could we adjust the usage probabilities in the prod order for Phantom material marked as Alternative groups?

I checked up in Sap documents. Outright it was mentioned that Phantom material could be used as alternative groups. But could someone suggest a way out for using phantom matl as alternative group please?

    Hi

    Small Correction to my earlier thread. Outright the sap document says that Phantom material cannot be used as a Alternative group. But could we have some option by which we can do that ?
