Substitute approver

Hi SRM Gurus

We have a requirement, where we need to deactivate the substitute button in the approver inbox. WF_SUBSTITUTE Badi is not hit when we debugged. How to achive this. We are SRM 5.0 ECS.

I have checked all the possible links in this forum.

How about comment out the substitute button line from bbpapproval/99/saplbw02_1200.html ?

Hi Manjunath,

You can use Screen variants for your requirement instead of commenting the code in html template.

Hi,

First you can try using the foll for hiding the button.If nothing of these works then you may need to modify the Original ITS template and comment out the relevant code(Modification of ITS template not recommended if changes possible by screenvariants/badi's)

1.Use the standard BADI's BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI/BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI .

Also if the requirement is only for a certain users you can take a look at the BADI WFL_SECURITY BADI.

2. Screen Variants->

1.) T-code SHD0 .

2.) Create and copy a Z- screen variant T-Code BBPSC01 or whichever transaction that screen belongs to.

3.) Enter the program name and Screen number.

4.) Check mark the fields to be invisible/non editable etc.

5.) Implement BADI BBP_SCREENVARIANT.
