hello guys,

material A is produced in in plant X. the same material A is procured from Plant Plant X to plant Y with special procurement 40.

when i raise the the requirement for plant Y, a planned order is generated in plant X, now when i raise the requirement for plant X, i want one collective planned order for both the plants. but i am getting 2 planned orders, one for plantX and the other for plant Y. may i know what setting in material master should be done.

thanks all.

Hi

Planned orders will be created plant wise only.

I do not think your requirement will be met in Std SAP.

you need to change your lot size indicator in material master mrp1 view from EX to monthly or weekly or daily depending on your requirement

If it is monthly then system will create a order for all the requirement in that month. requirement may be from plant A or plant B for material X.

Hi

Though lot size key plays a role for combining the requirements & planning as single element, this being the requirements to get single planned order for requirements in two plants, we may have to try the MRP areas.

Create both plants in sigle MRP area & try.

As far I Know,a single Planned Order can be created if your delivery for inhouse and external remt. is same. What Lot Size are you using?
