problem : iview is not reflecting after transport from DEV to QAS

HI,

I have added one transaction iview to a role X in DEV. I have transported the role X and transaction iview to QAS.

when i checked in QAS, the role is updated after import and is displaying the iview in the role. But when i assign the same role to one user in QAS, the iview which is in the role X is not displaying in the user portal (ie, iview is not displaying).

could anyone tell me what is the problem and how to solve it?

Regards,

Vila.

Hi,

I think you would have previewed it for checking the iView. Before assigning the role to the user, make sure entry point is set to true for role. Otherwise it may not display.

sorry harini,

again, same problem is displaying.....the following errors are displaying....

1) The role is not accessible due to data inconsistencies

2) An unexpected error occurred when retrieving all backend systems available for user mapping.

3) An error occurred; contact your system administrator

even i checked the system aliases in both the servers. Everything is fine... but iview is not displaying in the user when i assign the role.

Hi,

I suggest you delete the old system alias, recreate the alias and do the user mapping again. Check the iView from the preview. If working fine, then check for that user.
