BI IP: Convert Planning function from BW-BPS into BI IP

Hello,

we have a planning application created with BW-BPS. Now we want to convert this application into Integrate Planning. Planning function should also converted. I know that BI IP use BADI for planning function. My question is: Is it possible to convert planning function from BW-BPS to BADI from BI IP? If yes, are there any documents which describe this process?

    Hello ,

    One significant concept change affects the interface of BPS and IP is layout for end user . Hence SAP suggested that Planning layouts, planning folders and Web interfaces cannot be migrated from BW BPS to BI IP .

    The functions must be rebuilt using tools from the BI suite: the BEx Query Designer, the BEx Web Application Designer, and the BEx Analyzer.

    Since feww of the planning functions of BPS are not available in IP , I guess you need to manually recreate them.
