Hi,

Have u uploaded any par file before? If this is the first time, then it may be because of developer studio. Else u can check the password as suggested. Any case, I also suggest you to try deploying the par file using Export option. Right Click the project -> Export -> Par -> Choose the par file -> Check the Deploy option box -> Export. That will work.

Hi,

Check that your password doesn't have any special characters as password is send from NWDS to server as encoded string.

So some characters are unsafe to use in your password, check the Unsafe characters here:

Hi,

If other users also can't deploy, it could be problem from server side. I suggest you restart the server and check.

Hello Malini,

There is no configuration on server side for uploading PAR files. Please check your EP Server settings they can be the only cause of error. In NWDS please go to Windows->prefrences->SAP Enterprise Portal. Provide all the necessary details over there.

You should use a user id which is having super_admin role assigned to it.

In case you still get error that upload failed, In NWDS please go to Windows->prefrences->Workbench->Proxy Settings. remove proxy if it is there.

Also the upload can fail depending of the content of the file, please ensure that there is no error in the code you are using.

hi..

Please check your project folder structure.. Even with this error, creation of par file is already done. As this error is coming, you can upload this file from the portal itself. But for this you should have system admin rights

Thanks & Regards

Hi,

while deploying it asks for SDM passwork (only for first time), so please check if you are giving right credentials. Also have you configured j2ee engine in the perspective? you need to provide proper server name/IP and login details. Check you have followed all these steps.

Hi,

Thats because you have uploaded it and deployed.deployment is different from upload so if you want it to be available in deployment tracker then you should deploy it and not upload. In NWDS, did you configured the j2ee enginein windows--> preferences --> j2ee?
