I am evaluating PD 16.6. I was fine for an hour or two, and then now my Toolbox is missing from all model types. On the View menu, I can toggle the Toolbox off and on, but there's no tools visible when the toolbox is on. This happens whether I am doing a EA diagram or BPM diagram, eetc.

I am running windows 10 on a surface tablet.

The most likely reason is that the Toolbox is in 'auto-hide' mode, though that doesn't seem likely, as there would be some sign of it in the workspace.

I have had the Toolbox disappear completely once or twice over the years, and I think that restarting PD sorted it out. Fortunately PD restarts pretty quickly.

This happened to me yesterday! I was making the toolbox narrower by dragging the divider to the right, and it just disappeared. However, I realised that the toolbox hadn't actually disappeared, it had just become so narrow that I couldn't actually see it anymore. When I moved the mouse to the right-hand edge of the screen, I was able to drag the divider to the left, revealing the Toolbox once again.
