Go to the info source belonging to that data target and right click to have in Change mode and and now u will find the communication structure ,
Add 0recordmode in the communication structure and save and activate it.

hi sampada,
this is very simple..
dont confuse bw ods and cube.
1...for ods...when creating info source...in the COMMUNICATION STRUCTURE
you can add 0recordmode and activate..ok
2...otherwise if u forgot to mention 0recordmode in transfer rules/comm'stru
u can assign this at UPDATE RULES level..its simple..
after displaying the massage "0record mode missing"..ENTER again..
now the 0recordmode is assigned..
this is one advantage in ODS compared to CUBE..
I think u can under stand this ....
regards,
sathish

Hi
obviously it will ask. First Include 0recordmode in communication Structure. Than try to create the update rule.
Hope now you clear.
