LSMW-Material extened to plant

Hi all,

With your valuable help, i have uploadded materials with INTERNAL NO RANGE for one plant(XXX). How do i EXTENED the same file with internal no materials to another plants(YYY,ZZZ).

All plants are in the same valuation area.

    Hi All,

    You can Extent material Through T.Cd: MM50 - Extend Material.

    OR

    Extend Material Master to Plant (MM01)

    Purpose

    Use this procedure to extend a material for use by a plant.

    Trigger

    Perform this procedure when a material(s) have already been created in SAP R/3 and it is determined your plant has a need to purchase and/or stock the material(s).

    Prerequisites

    · Material(s) must have been created in SAP R/3 by the Dept of General Services Material Master Central Data Team (MMCDT).

    Menu Path

    Use the following menu path(s) to begin this task:

    · Select

    SAP Menu >Logistics >Materials Management >Material Master >Material Create (General) >Immediately

    to go to the Create material (Initial Screen).

    Transaction Code

    MM01

    Helpful Hints

    · Have the material number(s) and related plant information available before starting this process.

    Reward if useful.

      from table MARA.

      It looks like you loaded into the blue.

      You should have a x-reference, that links the old material number (legacy systems material number) to the new SAP material number.

      If old and new material has a 1:1 relation then you can store the old number in field old material number (which is MARA-BISMT).

      If you do not have a x-refence yet, then you have to create one before you can continue extending the materials.

    Hi Kavita

    Just include the field Name of material number.

    and upload making changes for the different plant .

    Not much change is reqired.

      Hi Diwakar,

      I am using Direct input method. How do i get the <u>material number to be extended in material number fileld</u>.

      Should i get these values from MARA table?. We had already 600+ materials and now i uploaded 100 materials. I want to extend the 100 materials only to other plants. So how do get the 100 material nos which the system has generated for new upload.
