Error 6 in function module RSS_PROGRAM_GENERATE

Hi Experts,

I have created the generic datasource on database table in R3.

When I am trying to check it through the RSA3 transaction then I am getting following error:

"Error 6 in function module RSS_PROGRAM_GENERATE".

Kindly tell me what is this error and what is its solution.

Thanks,

Shalaka.

    Hi,

are you able to see your data source in RSA6 and just check the extract structure of your data source by double click and and inside it try to activate extract strcuture again and then save the data source.

    Thanks

    Hi

Generate the generic data source in RSO2. Than try in RSA3.

    Dear Shalaka,

Are you using RSA3 to check hierarchy data source. If yes, then use the report RSA1HCAT to check the data source.

If you have created the data using function module, then check if there are any errors in your FM. Also, please try to delete and recreate the data source.

    Assign points, if helpful.

    Best Regards,
