Tansports and Patches are not happening

Hi experts,

when i am applying the SAPKE47061 patch (in the test server), it got struck at the phase "IMPORT_PROPER".

when i am checking the "tp" by the command "tp getprots <sid>" its showing "tp finished with the return code 0208,SAPEVTPATH not set,Batchjobs can't be started, error in TPSETTINGS, transdir not set." and "RDDISOL" job is canceling for every minute when i starts uploading the patch.

But its not showing any inconsistency in STMS.

i removed and added again the chaild system.

Still the error is there.

currently i am not able to do transports in my test server Please give me your valuable suggestions to resolve this issue.

hi gayathri,

since it is test server, restore the database. after that check whether transports are happening or not. i hope after restoration, tp will work fine.

Gayathri,

1. Please chek the TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL file. Make sure each and every entry that you can see there is correct.

2. Check if TRANS_DIR is accessible thro AL11.

3. Check note 449270.
