Login to SAP system using SAPGUI and enter t-code SPAM and you will see the option Package level, click it and you will see the current support pack level.

I want to make one thing clear. When you say Upgradation, does it mean applying Support Packs???

It it's Support Pack, you have to apply it step by step, you cannot skip anything.

    1. To find Patch info:

use t-code SPAM --> Click Package Level

    2. You have to download SP04, SP05 to patch it to SP05.

    3. What system are you currently running?

    regards

Yes, I meant Support Pack. but here is my confusion.

    Consider the following tasks..

    1.Uninstall SP03

    2.Install SP04

    3.Uninstall SP04

    4.Install SP05

Could you please brief on why need to perform STEP 2 & 3?

How do they actually help in upgrading the system?

Where did you get this information?

      <i>1.Uninstall SP03

      2.Install SP04

      3.Uninstall SP04

      4.Install SP05</i>

Since you have the SP03 now, you have to download the SP04, SP05 and update them using SPAM.

Let me know if you need more details.

      regards,

The following steps from "SAP Netweaver MDM 5.5 SP04" upgrade guide page 14.

    1.Uninstall SP03

    2.Install SP04

The following steps from "SAP Netweaver MDM 5.5 SP05" upgrade guide page 12.

    3.Uninstall SP04 ( optional )

    4.Install SP05

    I apologize, I missed "( optional )" for SP05 upgrade process.

However for SP04 upgrade process, uninstallation of SP03 is not optional as per guide.

    Please advise!
