Hi Eperts,
I am little bit confused with Auto-reaction methods especially with satellite system.
Here is the senario: 1 ECC 6 & 1 solman 4.0.
Agent already configured and working fine. Now Here is the main confusion, when go to rz20 (solman) double click satellite system (ECC) and go to properties and to assign auto reaction method. I have copied method to zmethod in rz21 (solman). so back to rz20 (solman) properties when assigning auto-reaction zmethod, it does not take zmethod which I have created in solman. then I have created zmethod in ecc system and assign to it and it took it.
Now, the problem is email alerts, How am I suppose to get email alerts since the method has been assigned and user exists in satellite system where solman has to sent out email.
I am totaly confused big time. Is there any one who can help?
It will be very kind of you to help me understand this.
Thanks,
I will reward points.
HI,

Hi,
Thanks for your quick answer. This what exactly I have. Let me give you an example; in rz21 where you assign autoreaction as you have mentioned below, I have selected ECC system, then MTE class "R3DialogResponseTime" and then chose Z_CCMS_BASIS UNER 'Defined Central Authoreaction'. Z_ccms_basis configuration is same as you said like, SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2.
Also my Parameter tab:
1. SENDER - my own user which also exists in 000
2. RECIPIENT - sap basis team
3. RECIPIENT - TYPED - U
4. REACT_ON_ALERTS - YELLOW
5. SUBJECT_ALERT - SMP CCMS ALERT
6. SUBJECT_ALERT_CONT - $SID $NODENAME
I never recieved any email neither basis folks. Also when I go to rz20, Drop down and where it says R3DialogResponseTime, IT'S in yellow. but never got an email.
please help..
Thanks,

In your SOLMAN system, look at txn RZ21 menu Technical Infrastructure > Configure Central System > Assign central Autoreactions. You'll have to define an central auto reaction (for email use SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2) and then can select SYSTEM, MTE & auto reaction.
I've found this to be much easier to setup then going to each individual system.
