Can not start campaign automation!!!

Hi all,

i have a problem to start he campaign automation flow. After I released, clicked on Save and started the campaign I get the error message "User does not have the authorization to start the campaign" and detail "crm_mktca_execution008". (system 4.0 SP12)

I've checked all user roles and think they are ok....

Can someone tell me what is wrong and what i can do to "fix" the problem.

Thanks in advance..

    Hi Muralidhar,

thanks for reply but this note is for SP03 and our system is on SP12.

I did the same scenario on 5.0 and it works fine...maybe anyone else have an idea?

    Bye

    Hi,

After you get this error message access transaction /nsu53. This will give you the authorization object that it is missing.

Check if in marketing planner in Basic Tab you have data in Authorization Group - and if yes check if your sap user is in that AG.

    Hi radoslaw,

thanks for reply! I don't use the authorization group. But it seems that i'm one step forward. I start the campaign and the process ends successfully. But the next step don't start. It's a simple campaign...only startpoint and a campaign element. in this element i select the workflow "commit target group to channel". But nothing happens. That all works fine on crm 5.0 but not on 4.0.

    Some ideas??

    Thanks Tobias
