Need to add a whole column without showing the values

I have to make a summary page, where I have to sum a set of column and only display its sum. I don't want the column and its value to be displayed.


Colum1 Column2

1 20

2 40

3 50

Sum 50+40+20=110

SO in this I want to Display In a Page

Sum 110

Can any one plz advice ?

Hi Amit ,

Is there any dimension available in the report layout or not ?

Then u can used directly variable or function = Column1+Column2+Column3

The above will give you the total values.

What version are you using?

We have new types of cells called "References" that are much like the Excel $A1 type of references. What you can do is have a "Details" tab that shows the full date and summarized the data you need to display in the "Summary" tab. Then you can reference the cells from the Details tab and show them on the Summary tab. This is a great use case for references as these won't need to be calculated to be displayed so performance is much better than re-calculating the values in a formula or hidden table.
