    Welcome to XI..

XI developer needs basic Java coding skills, understanding of XML and good to know about SOAP protocol. ABAP knowledge would be added advantage. XI Fresher.. opportunities must originate from your company itslef.. if you are already employed and on an XI project. Getting directly in to XI.. might not be feasible without experience. Though a certification might help you..

    All the Best..

    Dear Arvind,

You are in right way to choose SAPXI And definately in terms of XI future i am talking about.

There is a huge demand of xi persons.Actually this is the hottest middle ware these days.

Many legacy system are using this and many other middle ware are getting migrated into SAP Xi.

as you are MCA student So no need to ask about JAVA and any oops skill.

Little ABAp knowledge will help you.

SAPXI is itself is a ocean and i will gurrentee that you will enjoy it.

IT will not only help you to understand SAPXi but other middle ware as well(Bit).

You need only your will power for going for its training.

Always look for anyupdate in sapxi in sdn.

Always looks for new type of error and new type of developement in sapxi.

for any help you can contact any of us.

    *PS:reward point if useful**

    Arvind,

SAP XI is a very good EAI Tool. How ever, if you are gonna look at it from your career perspective, then I would suggest against SAP XI trainings at this stage. My reasons..

You are a fresher just out of college. It is tougher even for guys with 2+ yrs experinece in ABAP to get a role in XI. XI is still an emerging tool and it is not yet widely used by many comapnies.

    Jai Shankar
