Objects not being collected

We are having some troubles with our first transports after our upgrade to 7.0. If I go into transport connection, choose grouping ‘In Data Flow Before’, select my 3.x Infosource, and have it collect the objects. It does not collect the related transfer rules, datasource, or infopackages.

These are new objects created after the upgrade.

Any ideas on what to look for?

We have resolved this.

We had to add an entry to table RSOPROPERTIESTAB for my user ID to give it access to our DEV R/3 logical system.

Which version of datasource you used for

OLD or NEW ??goto datasource to checkit as if its replicated as NEW and not 3.x then you would not get the transfer rules ...update rules

Hello Chris,

If those new objects are 3.x emulated, did you try to go to Transport Connection via RSA1OLD instead?

Thanks for your reply. I tried it with RSA1OLD and it gave me the same results. While working with the individual who upgraded the system, we noticed that his ID would collect the items. So we are now looking at this from this angle to see why his ID would act differently then mine.

Hmmm, I didn't know that authorizations could have an impact on the objects you try to transport, but I guess it makes sense.

Could you please confirm if it is the case?
