DDXTF entries

Hello

I'm upgrading our productive system from 4.70 to ECC 6.0. In Prepapre Module: Initialization we are getting an error because there are entries in table DDXTF. But the entries are related with active table so this hasn't sense. How can we solve this issue?

Hello,

First, which phase are you in now in module 'Initilazation'? If it's not between the Toolimport phase and NPREPCRE0, where the reset is prohibited, you can try to reset the prepare.

I don't think the table DDXTF should have any entries and this point, can you please check how many entries are in this table now in SE16? If you're in the phase that the reset is not possible, you might need to pass the phase NPREPCRE0 first by manipulating the entries in DDXTF then reset the prepare.

Since this is a productive system, I would highly recommned you to open an OSS message so SAP consultant can check the background and you will not lose any data.

I have deleted the entries using the database tools. Prepared finished OK.

Hello

The button "active<->inactive" is inactive, but this struture only has one version, so this is not the problem.

OSS has answer me with this:

You should check the control tables TBATG, DDXTF, DDXTT and TATAF.

They are responsible for pending activations. Entries in DDXTF, DDXTT

and TATAF must be deleted at database level.

All mentioned table are empty except DDXTF, so I suppose that I'll have to delete the entries with the database tools.

Please use the database tool to make a backup of the entries. Then reset the prepare, then remove the entries if they still exist. Restart the prepare after that.

I'm at phase INTCHK_IMP.

In table DDXTF there are only the 15 mentioned entries. It is supposed that this table has the name of inactive tables but BXCOM is active in our system.

I'm waiting an answer from SAP for 2 days...

Hello Ruben,

Can you please go to SE11, and please find if table BXCOM has an inactive version. Although a table is active, it could still have an inactive version. You can display it by click on the menu 'active <-> inactive' to check that.
