Revision Level

Hello ,

Can anyone help me how to maintain data in Revision level field by De-activating Revision Level in SPRO.

We are in process of upgrading from 4.5B to ECC 6.0 , in 4.5B we can enter any value though Revision level is De-activated.But for some unknown reason we could not do that in ECC 6.0.

Every time i enter data in Revision Level field its giving me an error msg that it is not maintained for material in ECC 6.0 but this is not the case in 45b.I can maintain any value in Revision Level field in 45B. (EG: S , N , T , N1 ,N2).

If you are asking about PO revision it is now mapped thorugh

Version Management in SAP which can be named as an ammendment

So you will have to activate version management in SPRO>Purchasing

Please check and confirm
