Data Services Monitor Sample rate size

In Data Services 4.2 I change the monitor sample rate from 5 to 300 and that does nothing to affect the size of the monitor log file size?

Documentation says it should.

what is the complete version of data services ? where are you executing the job from ? DS Management Console, Schedule or Designer, to check if the value is taking affect ,go to %DS_COMMON_DIR%\log\<JobServerName> folder and check the server_eventlog_<date>.txt file for the command line used by job server to start the job, you should see -t300

if you still see -t5 or no -t at all then possibly a bug in the version that you are using
