Sys number and SAP client diff

Hello,

I have basic doubt regarding XI client and System Number. Actually when i installed XI, i have given I remember CI instance number as 01.

So, i can access 001 client for XI using SAP GUI. And also, my j2ee engine i can access with http://host:50100/

When i see my customer's landscape, SAP gui access is same as 001 client.

But, system number is 15.

Where do we specify system number in order to access my j2ee engine with 51500.

Thanks,

Srinivas

I would recommend not using client 001 for Abap changes.

Create a new client - 100 or similar!

Hello,

I am not asking about how to access j2ee engine URL. Where we need to specify this number while installing XI in order to access j2ee engine.

Thanks,

I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. Are you saying that you are about install XI and you want to know where you supposed enter the system # so that you can access the J2EE engine or Where do you enter the system # during J2EE configuration?

Are you asking how to access J2EE engine with the System # 15? If yes, http://host:51500 is correct.
