Wrong Adapter Engine on RWB?

Hi guys,

We have the following arquitecture: the XI QA and Prod are sharing the same SLD, and I was checking the intallation of the QA box and I realized that the adapter engine on the QA box has the name of the Production system, I think this is wrong but unfotunatly I have not wroked with a central SLD and the basis team are telling me that there was not any error on that.

do you guys think that it is correct or somewhere on the intallation was messed up? and if so Do you have any idea how to fix it?

The RWB-component monitoring looks like this:

Doman.02.sapQA

Integration Server

IntegrationEngine MQA

Business Process Engine MQA

Mapping Runtime xisapQA.domain.com

Adapter Engine xisapPR.domain.com

Hi guys, thx all for the help.

the basis team did this:

force th resgistration of the adapter engine

by opening the visual admin -> cluster -> XI AF CPA CAche -> input

the correct host name in the parameter SLD.selfregistration.hostName

Thanks!!!

Hi,

It must point to QA adapter engine. It can be adjusted by Visual admin. To verify it goto SX_CACHE and goto->Adapter engine. URL will show you current adapter engine in use.

After change in visual admin you need to restart j2ee engine to allow adapter engine registration in SLD.

Omar,

It must point to QA Adapter Engine only. THe basis guys must change some thing in the exchangeProfile I beleive (though not sure). But the QA env pointing to PR is not correct since both the env have different adapter engines and they do not share.
