Is it possible to delete a field from the customizing Include (in a standard table) without affecting any of the T-codes?

If possible tell me the steps please...

Hi,

If that field reference is used in some screen, that transaction will give you the dump. Make sure that there is no reference of that field with any screens.

Satish

hi,

we can delete a field from custom table.

first open the table (se11). double click on the include. there u select the field and delete.(these all are u know i think)

then activate the include. and come back to table. there we have a UTILITIES menu under we have an option Database utility. open that option there we have three options delete database, delete data and finally ADJUST AND ACTIVATE.

reward if useful....

You can do that provided that field(s) is not used in any program logic and if the include structure is part of some table and there are no values in that particular field.

Once you delete the field, you have to go to SE14 and 'Adjust and Activate' all the tables that included this structure.
