Uploading Employee Data Into Pending Hires

Hi

In SuccessFactors Employee Central you have the option, when you create a new employee, to save the data as Draft and continue the process in Manage Pending Hires -> Drafts.

As we are not using SF Recruiting Management or SF Onboarding yet, but still using a external recruiting solution, we are looking for a solution to transfer identified candidates from the 3rd party recruiting solution to Employee Central. We receive the candidates in a csv file.

An idea of a solution would be to upload the received data, via SCPI or import, into the entity that Manage Pending Hires reads from and complete the hiring process from here. However, we cannot find any information on how to upload such data into a pending hires draft status.

Any information on how to accomplish this, or alternative suggestions, are more than welcome. Thank you.

Hi Peter,

Candidates move to Draft when employee data is saved at "Add new hire" wizard or "Rehire user" wizard, or Manage Pending Hire from ONB or RCM only.

There is no other way to change the Draft except by entering the rest of the data manually.

For your requirement it's best to use the import feature of creaitng a user in Employee Central.
