Which are the integration points between SAP PM and PP module?
Can the Production planning and Maintenance planning have any contact points?
Can the shutdown need from Maintenance person be examined by Production person?
Thanks,
Kedar

Hi Kedar,
The PP & PM have integration point as Work Center (in location tab of equipment master data, we mention the work center). This work center is nothing but the production machines.
So, whenever we schedule maintenance plan for a reference object, whichever the work center is maintained in the master data of that reference object gets blocked & cannot be used by production. At the time of production planning, system automatically skips those dates for the work center & does the production planning.
So anytime production planning is done by the PP guy, he / she can see that which work center is blocked by PM.
Hope this helps you.......
Regards..........
