Hi All,

We have upgraded 4.6c to ECC 6.0 SP11 (technical).

We are in process of implementing E-recruitment for internal job postings. E-rec 600 is installed on the same server of ECC.

We are using structural authorization profiles for all our employees.

However, we are facing strange problems in candidate start pages (0001).

For some employees - Apply directly in candidate personal pages doesn't show the job postings after clicking on the Start search where as it shows to some other users.

Please let me your valuable inputs for this kind of strange behaviour. Thanks for your time in advance. points assured.

    • Hi Anil,

      I'd check the following 2 point as a first approach:

      If SAP implemented everything correct (unfortunately not all applications apply on that :o(). Internal published positions are only found for internal candidates and external published are only found for external ones. There is a flag in IT5102 which is set for employees leaving the company. Internal Canddates (candidates with an employeeID) are treated as external candidates so they might not find the positions.

      If you have this problem the next step would be to analyse if the flag is set wrong and why this happens. Sometimes there are troubles with candidates reentring the company.

      The other point are the structural authorizations - they are quite tricky. As they apply to the e-recruiting and all e-recruitingobjects are HR-Objects you have to ensure that everyone has the correct structural authorizations, perhaps you have to assign a special e-recruiting profile to the SAP* user.
