Some error in importing support package

Former Member

The "error" stated as below :

Phase CHECK_REQUIREMENTS: Explanation of the Errors

Open Data Extraction Requests

The system has found a number of open data extraction requests. These

should be processed before starting the object import process, as

changes to DDIC structures could prevent data extraction requests from

being read after the import, thus causing them to terminate. You can

find more information about this problem in SAP Note 328181.

Call the Customizing Cockpit data extraction transaction and process all

open extraction requests.

It's not actually error because it can be skip.

I read through the SAP Note 328181 but still i do not understanding it very well.

1) What is this customizing cockpit?

2) What is this update mode - a) Queued Delta

b) Direct Delta

c) Unserialized V3 update

3) In which module usually create these data?

4) If i activate all the data myself, what are the impact?

Pls help to solve my questions, thanks a lot!

HI Jerry,

sorry I dont understand thoese questions however, Phase " CHECK_REQUIREMTNS that error can be fixed just either restarting or doing post processing agian.

please do the following if you didnt..

go to se06 and click perform post-install........

then go to stms and save.

Retry you spam/saint... make sure keep cheking tablespace sizes by gong db02. most of the time is sends you an error if you tablesspaces are full. Anything in over 90% not recomended.

Hi Jerry,

The note will be confusing if you are not familliar with the BW extraction process. To resolve the issue you are facing, check SM13, do you have a lot of update records with "V2 Processed" status. If so shedule Collective Run (Program : RMCSV3VB) to transfer these to the BW Delta queue and ask the BW team to extract the data to make the Delta queue empty. Also delete all failed SM13 entries and continue with your Support Pack.

Reward Point if Helpful
