I would like to know that can our Crystal Report XI server SP2 be installed under Windows server 2012. Recently CR Server runs on W 2003.

Many many thanks Dell, Don. I will attempt to do something soon considering you suggested and will return with results.

You have to do several thing to even have a chance to get this to work.
1. Windows Server 2012 does not have the MS C++ 2005 libraries installed. You'll need to download and install these from MS before trying to install CRS.
2. Run the install in Windows XP compatibility mode.
3. If your version of CRS is the free one that came packaged with Crystal XI, you need to look at updating it to the last service pack. See https://blogs.sap.com/2011/06/07/where-did-all-the-crystal-reports-xi-r1-and-r2-fixes-go/.
4. Configure the components of the system to run in Windows XP compatibility mode.
After all of that, as Don said, it may or may not work.

Possibly, never tested, XI is end of life a long time ago. Upgrade to CRS 2016 and it will be supported.
