Well it shouldn’t take long to write a quick test app.
But I think the question is irrelevant. Firstly, the limit is almost certainly at the browser end. Secondly, the question should really be about how many tabs you want to create. I’m sure 50 tabs will load up, but be careful of what frustrated users might throw at you.
In other words, if you’re thinking tens or more, then tabs are probably not the best design choice.
