Performance Appraisal--Direct Reports do not show for an appraiser

Hello

When the appraiser logs on to MSS, his name defaults in the "Appraiser" section. He then clicks on the "Submit" link besides the "Appraisee" section looking to see only his direct reports. But the system comes up with many more EE's than just his direct reports.

How can we limit the search values to only the direct reports? We have made the following settings in IMG --> Personnel Management --> Personnel Development --> Appraisal Systems --> Edit Form of Appraisal

Appraiser_____Appraisee_____Ev. Path A__________Ev. Path B

P______________P__________BOSSORG________BOSSORG

P______________US_________BOSSORG________BOSSORG

US_____________P__________BOSSORG________BOSSORG

US_____________US_________BOSSORG________BOSSORG

Are we completely off track or need to make changes somewhere else. Please advice.

Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

The Submit button found on the BSP is used for searching employees. You can either give the employee id directly and hit enter to fill the appraisee or give a name and hit the search button. On the second case all the employees(Active + terminated) with the name hit will be available as search output. If you need the submit button to return a direct report appraisee customization has to be done in the BSP. Have you alreardy cloned the BSP application?

If yes then the search functionality is coded in the page fragment.

For each of the submit buttons, there is a separate page fragment available.

    document_header_appraisee.htm - For Appraisee

    document_header_appraiser.htm - For Appraiser

    Hope this helps you.

    Regards,

    Subbu.

    Hi Subbu

Does that mean that there is no option to control the list of possible appraisee's based on the evaluation path? Where is the settings under the step <i>IMG --> Personnel Management --> Personnel Development --> Appraisal Systems --> Edit Form of Appraisal</i> used in the appraisal process.

Considering that there is a standard option available for ISR and Time, I thought one is available for appraisal's as well.

    Please advice.

      Hi,

The IMG path you have specified is for the old appraisal system. I dont think they have any effect on the OSA (Objective settings appraisal).

This i think has to be handled in the BSP or through Badis.

      Regards,

      Subbu.
