installation of XI is core dumping

Hi,

I am trying to install XI 3.0 in the AIX/Oracle environment. When it gets to step 4 creating the user accounts we see the below errors in the log and the install core dumps. There is not a sapsys or dba user on the system. However, we do have a sapsys and dba group.

Working directory changed to /tmp/sapinst_instdir/NW04S/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS.

    Hi Rick,

It seem that some temporary exe files are there already with account. So first remove all temporary files.

you too can follow the below link also.

    help.sap.com/bp_bpmv130/Documentation/Installation/XI30InstallGuide.pdf

Also after installation please do post intallation checks you can search in sdn library.

    **PS reward points if useful**

I was able to resolve this issue by downloading the latest sapinst.

    Thanks,

    Rick
