WDDOMODIFYVIEW is called twice for embedded component

I have embedded a WD component into another component, and now the WDDOMODIFYVIEW method of all the views of the embedded component are called twice.

Any idea why?

It seems that the method is called twice, because it is called as an embedded view, and once because we have created a component usage in the surrounding controller.

Change the <i>Lifetime</i> of view into when <b>visible</b> instead of<i> framework controlled</i> under views property. It will solve the issue.
