SRM recipient role restricted to plants

Former Member

Hi

In SRM the organizational levels available in authorizations to the 'Recipient role' consist of 'Purch.org' and 'Purch.grp'.

How do I restrict the role to certain plants?

I tried adding the authorization object M_BBP_IM_1 to restrict actions according to plant but anyone with the recipient role can still see all purch.orders.

Hi,

If you just need to modify the List of PO's displayed to the User based on the Plant value, you can also implement the BADI "BBP_WF_LIST".

Whats your exact requirement?

Hi

Thank you. I have been looking in to that BADI - but am unsure of how to use it - in order to meet my requirements.

The organization is this: I have af number of hospitals - each hospital has 3 plants.

I need to assign the goods recipient role to users at each hospital to confirm goods ordered from the 3 plants at their hospital.

Does this make sense?

best regards

Hi,

This BADI will be useful if you have to restrict the List of Goods ordered to be confirmed to only those plants to which the user belongs to.

So for your requirement ,you dont need to use the BADI to restrict the list for confirmation.

Is the user not able to confirm goods odered for all the three plants?

Hi,

I have a number of hospitals within the same purchasing organisation. At each hospital I have 3 plants.

I need to limit GOODS RECIPIENT to ONLY 1 hospital defined by the 3 plants.

is it possible?

Hi Astrid,

Apropos the info. provided it seems you want the user to receive the goods for all the three plants.

This is very much possible if you assign the user at the Hospital level and define the user as goods recipient. In such a case the user will be able to receive goods for all the 3 plants.

Hope this clarifies your issue.

Hi Teja

I need to be able to assign the 'goods recipient role' for 3 specific plants regardless of which hospital the user is assigned to.

Do you have any idea, as to how I restrict the role in this way

Hi Astrid,

Try maintaining all the 3 plants in the Locations column of the extended attributes tab for the concerned user whom you would like to make as a Goods Recipient using PPOMA_BBP transaction.

Hope this helps in resolving your issue.

Hi

Sorry for the delay - I had to get back to my costumer to try out your suggestion.

Unfortunately it does not solve the problem. The goods recipient role does not automatically check for Plant. - then I would have to use the BADI too - and it would take a lot of maintenance, since we eventually will have 12 different hospitals with each 3 plants.

I need to create som recipientroles, that can be restricted to different plants.

Do you or anyone?? have guidelines to creating an authorization object, that restricts that role to certain plants?
